长滨文化遗址，1968年3月，由台湾大学地质学系林朝荣教授调查台东县长滨乡八仙洞海蚀洞穴时发现。后经挖掘，出土一大批石器、石片、骨角器、鱼骨、兽骨、粮食残渣等3000多个器物。经鉴定，确认此处为台湾首次发现最古老的文化层，即旧石器文化层。
